This study was conducted in the context of an educational model followed by the System of Virtual Campus at a Mexican university.
The research paradigm used was qualitative, and the epistemological orientation was a constructivist philosophical stance for development of that theory. The method used was the grounded theory a systematic design approach reconstructed by Creswell in Six researchers participated, as experts, into this field of study.
The strategy was an analysis and interpretation of interviews, documentation, data and theory construction evaluation. The instruments were an interview guide and a questionnaire.
